Somerset Rebels reveal new programme plans for 2013 speedway season
Cases Somerset Rebels will have a new-look matchday programme for the 2013 speedway season at the Oaktree Arena.
The 32-page full-colour publication will keep last season's cover price of £2.50, and promoter Debbie Hancock said there will be an extra incentive for fans to buy a copy.

"Printing the programme in-house was not as cost-effective as we originally envisaged, plus it meant that the printer in the clubhouse was out of commission for best part of the day for any other use while the programmes were being printed,” said Hancock.
“By outsourcing the printing to Curtis Sports, it gives us greater flexibility in the type of programme we can produce with a more professional image.

“One new item we are looking to introduce in conjunction with the new-style programme is a ‘lucky programme’ draw, hopefully on a weekly basis, with a different prize being presented to the holder of that particular week's winning programme."
The Rebels will host their annual press and practice day at the Oaktree Arena on Friday, March 22.
Gates will open to the general public at 5pm, with the riders taking to the Oaktree track for an evening practice session at 7pm.
