The same circuit staged today’s qualifying meeting, and both Doyle and Davies comfortably finished inside the top eight to reach the three-round series.
Davies, 20, dropped just three points from his five rides to score 12 points and provisionally win the meeting on countback from Eastbourne’s Adam Shields.

Davies finished ahead of Shields when the pair met during the meeting, which was the deciding factor after both riders finished the meeting with an identical record.
Doyle had a slight wobble when he was excluded from his fourth ride due to a starting infringement, but he came back in style to win his final ride and finish in fourth place with ten points.
Grajczonek didn't need to ride in the qualifier - he had already reached the championship thanks to his win in the Queensland State Championship.
