Somerset Rebels will start their 2012 Premier League speedway campaign with back-to-back home matches.

The Rebels host Workington on Friday, May 11, at the Oak Tree Arena, followed by the visit of Rye House seven days later.

Speedway fans only have to wait another six weeks for action, though, because the Rebels will start their season with a two-legged challenge match against Elite League side Swindon Robins.

Somerset head to Swindon on Thursday, March 22, with the return match at the Oak Tree Arena 24 hours later.

From there, the Rebels head into a run of League Cup matches, starting with away and home matches against Ipswich Witches on March 29 and 30 respectively.

Two cup derbies with Plymouth Devils have been scheduled for the end of April. The Rebels host the Devils on Friday, April 27, and then head down to the St Boniface Arena the following evening.
