Organisers of this weekend's Beckington Village Day say the highlight will be a display by the Sealed Knot Civil War re-enactment society.

Other entertainment includes vintage cars, a steam roller, country dancing, Frome Army Cadet Marching Band and a chainsaw wood carving display.

The event takes place on Saturday from noon.

There will also be a dog show and music will be provided by Frome Town Youth Band.

There will be a variety of stalls and sideshows, such as a coconut shy, crockery smashing and a wacky rodeo ride as well as a skittles competition.

A bouncy castle, obstacle course, big wheel and swing boats will keep children occupied.
