Head, John Walmsley comments, "I am a firm believer that the International Baccalaureate Diploma is an excellent course for 6th formers, it is transformative education that develops creative, enthusiastic learning. Our IB students find that the study skills learnt in their Sixth Form Diploma course give them a real advantage in coping with degree level study at University. This year, the Sidcot IB results are better then ever (and there is no grade inflation at IB!) with 25% of our students gaining over 40 points and an improvement on the 32 points average score last year to 33.5.  As Head, it is really satisfying to see the positive progression of results our students and staff have worked hard to achieve over the last three years at Sidcot.  All the staff at Sidcot are delighted with these fantastic results and wish our students the very best in the next stage of their educational careers."
