Shuttle service for stranded community
A shuttle bus has been introduced in a North Somerset village to assist residents left stranded after the main road through it was closed due to repairs. North Somerset Council closed Heywood Road in Pill on Wednesday morning for seven days to fix drains. The closure has meant the 358 and 359 buses cannot access the village, forcing residents to walk a mile and a half to catch a bus on the A369 before the shuttle service began.
