Yeovil Town continued their October revival in npower League One with a convincing 3-1 win at Shrewsbury Town tonight.

Striker Paddy Madden, on loan from Carlisle United, got the visitors off to a perfect start when he headed home skipper Jamie McAllster's free kick after just eight minutes.

James Hayter doubled the advantage in the 60th minute when he got on the end of a Keanu Marsh-Brown cross, before Madden got his second of the night ten minutes later.

Again Madden scored with his head, but this time the delivery came from Ed Upson.

Aston Villa youngster Daniel Johnson, signed earlier in the day on a month's youth loan, made his Glovers debut as a second-half replacement for Korey Smith.

But it was Johnson who conceded a late penalty for a foul on Tom Bradshaw.

Matt Richards beat Marek Stech from the spot, but the 81st minute goal was little more than a consolation for the Shrews.

Yeovil Town: Stech, Edwards, McAllister, Webster, Burn, Foley, Smith, Upson, Marsh-Brown, Hater, Madden. Substitutes: Stewart, Ayling, Hinds, Blizzard, Williams, Reid, Johnson.
