Shock as two-year-old boy airlifted to hospital from Langport
A two-year-old boy was airlifted from Langport to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton on Tuesday morning.
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance landed on Cocklemoor, attended a house in the centre of the town and left the scene with the young patient at 8.30am.

A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said: “The call came in at 7.45am. We attended with three land ambulances and the air ambulance which conveyed a child to hospital.”
Residents were shocked by the sound of sirens and helicopters in the market town and some Bow Street residents saw the air ambulance land.

Julie Taylor said: “I saw the air ambulance land just at the back of the house. There were two ambulances in the road. The air ambulance just landed and then took off after a bit.”
Chris Osborne said: “The air ambulance landed on Cocklemoor and they had a lot of gear. The traffic was all jammed up.”
A Bow Street business owner added: “No one seems to know anything. I believe it came to Bow Street but I was coming from Curry Rivel and was caught up in all the traffic.”
