Shepton Beauchamp road closed during thatched cottage chimney fire investigation
A road in Shepton Beauchamp was closed by police as firefighters investigated a fire at a thatched cottage.
The fire was reported just before 3pm on Saturday at Croft cottage.

A spokesman from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "Upon arrival, crews confirmed a chimney fire, with no physical flames showing and no smoke, however the wood burner appeared to be very hot.
"Crews investiagted the loft area with a thermal imaging camera and extinguished the fire using chimney gear. It did not affect the thatched roof."
