Sequel to Cinderella
The Pilton Players are gearing up for their next production.
"After the Ball" – a sequel to "Cinderella" – will be staged at Pilton Working Men's Club on Thursday and Friday, December 6 and 7 at 7.30pm and on Saturday, December 8 at 2.15pm and 7.45pm.
With a script written by villager John Howe the pantomime tells of Cinderella's trials and tribulations following her wedding to Prince Charming. The usual cast is welcoming some new faces and some younger Pilton residents for a really fun evening of drama, comedy and well known songs. And the popular Evercreech group John Robson and the Grey Dogs will again be providing the music.
This will be Mr Howe's tenth Pilton pantomime as writer and director, and the production features lots of familiar faces as well as a few new ones. Tickets are on sale at Pilton Post Office on November 15th, and are also available from the Club and from Sandra and John Howes on 01749 890239. The tickets are £7 for adults and £4 for youngsters aged 16 and under. There will be a raffle and a bar available in the Club.
