Seagull rescue brings slapstick to Bridgwater industrial estate
Police roped in a bath tub, canoe and raft as they went to the rescue of a seagull stuck in a pond.
The three dog unit officers spotted the bird as they exercised one of the dogs on an industrial estate near Bridgwater at 2am.

They lashed together gas cylinders and an old wooden pallet using dog leads and eventually saved the gull, which had a broken wing.
