Scaffolding firm with no permit loses gear
A scaffolding firm has had its gear removed from a job in Taunton after setting up on a road without a permit from Somerset County Council.
Somerset Highways keeps a register of scaffolding firms to which it will issue £40 permits if they need to set scaffolding foundations.
Arrow Scaffolding had been removed. A highways superintendent approached the firm when he suspected it had put up scaffolding without permission.
