Saturday seed swap at Cheddar Library
It is time to put the wet summer behind us and begin thinking about planting for next year. With that in mind the Friends of Cheddar Library are hosting a seed swap on Saturday, October 13, from 10am to noon.
To get the swappers on their way Cheddar Garden Centre has donated 100 packets of seeds.

Richard Truscott of the centre said: "We hope the seed swap gives residents the opportunity to use a much-needed amenity like the library which is not just there for reading activities."
If people don't have anything to swap, no worries, you can discuss gardening and get ideas about saving your seeds. Any surplus seeds maybe available for a small donation. In addition there will be horticultural books to borrow and an experienced gardener on hand to advise people on their gardening problems.
