Sands of time have not run out
WESTON-super-Mare's Sand Sculpture Festival has been extended – after calls from the general public.
The festival on the seafront was due to close early this month, but now organisers have decided to keep it open until the end of September.

Almost 50,000 people from across the UK have flooded to the resort since the festival opened in June to see the hand-crafted sculptures, which include one of the Queen, pictured. The festival will be open until September 30 from 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
