Sam Masters and Kyle Newman to fly Somerset Rebels flag in World U21 Championship

Somerset Rebels riders Sam Masters and Kyle Newman will be heading to Neustadt Donau in Germany for a qualifying round meeting in this year’s World Under-21 Championship on Sunday.

Somerset promoter Debbie Hancock said: “Alex Davies will be starting out on the same trail, albeit in a different qualifying round at Blijham in Holland later next month, and we wish them all well.”

Meanwhile, Plymouth Devils have signed Australian rider Todd Kurtz to boost this season’s Premier League campaign.

Kurtz is expected to make his debut for the Devils in the League Cup, either on Friday at Somerset or on Sunday at Leicester.
