TRANMERE Rovers are faced with an injury crisis as they prepare to visit Yeovil Town on Saturday.

The Wirral club enter the npower League One clash on the back of their first victory of the season, against Peterborough United last weekend.

However, manager Les Parry could only name 12 players for a training session with FA coach Nick Bailey on Monday.

Keeper Simon Miotto, defenders Marlon Broomes, Nick Wood, Ash Taylor and Ian Goodison and midfielders Paul McLaren, John Welsh, Joss Labadie and Alan Mahon all spent time in the treatment room.

They were joined by forwards Adam McGurk, Enoch Showunmi and Sam Morrow.

While some may recover in time for the trip to Huish Park, Parry is destined to be without at least seven senior professionals.

He said: "We are not going to get back any of the players who were out last week and we could lose some more.

"Adam McGurk turned over an ankle in the Peterborough game and it is not too good. Ian Goodison ricked his back, Enoch Showunmi has tendinitis in his right leg and Sam Morrow has a tight adductor.

"I brought in the FA coach, Neil Bailey, this week to do some work with the players. It Is something I started doing last season, bringing in guest coaches in to make the sessions different. But we had only 12 outfield players for him to work with."

With clubs able to again make emergency loan signings, the physio-turned-manager refused to rule out a move.

"If we sign someone now it would be for three months at most," he said. "We can only keep him until December."
