Almost a year after the dramatic collapse of a riverside wall in Bridgwater, the difficult repair job continues.
The wall crumbled on the night of the town’s famous carnival, sparking an evacuation of nearby residents and traders.

This year’s carnival takes place on Saturday, and businesses say they are frustrated by the fall in trade they have suffered as a result of the work.
The district council says it has received no such complaints.
