Radstock Youth Hub open day
Radstock Youth Hub, run by Bath & North East Somerset Council, will open its doors to the local community on Saturday 8 September for its first ever open day.
The day has been planned by young people and staff at the Youth Hub to inform the local community about the services and facilities available. This event is open to anyone interested in finding out more about Radstock Youth Hub.
Councillor Paul Crossley (Lib-Dem, Southdown), Leader of Council, said: "We want young people and their families to come along to the day. In particular we hope to encourage more young people aged between 12 and 19 to attend the Youth Hub during its open sessions as well as show others, including those aged up to 25, the services it can provide them though working with partnership agencies like the Prince's Trust.
"Bath & North East Somerset Council is committed to helping children and young people enjoy their childhood and prepare for adult life in order to make a positive difference to their lives and communities. The young people at Radstock Youth Hub have decided to use this event to raise funds for future youth work activities and will be holding a cake stall and a raffle.
