Radstock Youth Hub offers new skills to 12 and 13 year olds
A host of exciting and engaging projects for 12-13-year-olds are to take place at Bath & North East Somerset Council's Radstock Youth Hub during March and April, which will offer young people the chance to have fun and develop their skills for just 50p a session.
Projects include a First Aid course, beginning on Tuesday 25 March, which gives attendees the chance to gain an accredited First Aid Certificate at the end of the three sessions. Places for the course are very limited, book a place by contacting Sam Plummer on 01761 433288.
A photography project will begin on Thursday 18 April, with a taster session on Thursday 27 March. An experienced photographer will teach young people how to use a digital SLR camera, as well as skills like framing and lighting. There will also be the chance to take part in a photography exhibition on "the future of Radstock". Organisers will provide the cameras but attendees are also welcome to take their own along.
The Natural Theatre will hold a number of sessions in street theatre, starting with a taster on Monday 15 April. Try on some crazy costumes and have the chance to be involved with Bath Fringe Festival. No experience is required but a good sense of humour is essential! Young people will also have the opportunity to join the Natural Theatre youth drama club.
