Radio road show to help make wishes come true
Glastonbury Radio will be hosting a charity fundraiser tomorrow (Saturday, July 4) for the Make a Wish Foundation.
The charity grants wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.
The event will form part of the second anniversary of the Gauntlet shopping centre in the town and will feature soul singer Tasmine Archer.
The fundraiser will be held in St John's Square between 1pm and 5pm, with other fundraising activities taking place in the town during the day.
During the evening ,a "Buzzcocks" style quiz has been arranged, starting in the George and Pilgrim at 7.30pm.
The MD of Glastonbury Radio, Ross Hemsworth, says that TV presenter and lad's mag favourite Gail Porter, has been lined up to take part in the quiz and there is a possibility other well-known personalities will be along to lend their support.
