Process begins to find new Bishop of Bath and Wells
Moves have begun to find a new Bishop of Bath and Wells.
The Right Reverend Peter Price announced in November that he would be retiring in the summer after 11 years in the role.
The Diocese of Bath and Wells said its Vacancy in See Committee – which contains 25 men and women from across the diocese, representing both clergy and laity – will now agree a “person spec” for the role.
But the name of Bishop Price’s successor is not likely to be known until the autumn.
