Priston mother heading to Ethiopia to raise money for send a cow
A mother-of-three from Priston is preparing to travel to Ethiopia to raise money for Send a Cow.
Amanda Geake said she hoped her efforts would allow the charity to help African families improve their own living standards.
She said: "I will be climbing the remote and beautiful Simien Mountains together with about 15 others.
"It is an extreme challenge, trekking up to 11 or 12 hours a day, covering around 20-25kms per day for eight days, up and down mountain passes at about 12,000 feet.

She said: "I want to raise as much as I can for Send a Cow whose work I love and admire."
