Priston Festival events as part of its lead-up to the main festival
Priston Festival has planned two events in March as part of its lead-up to the main festival on 20-22 September.
On Saturday, March 23 there will be a screening of Woody Allen's Oscar-winning film Midnight in Paris in Priston village hall. Doors open at 7.15 for 8pm, and tickets are £5 (£4 concessions). Bar and refreshments will be available and there will be an interval. The film show is part of the Festival's ongoing commitment to bring cinema to the rural community - previous films have included War Horse and Breakfast at Tiffany's. The following weekend there will be free music from country/blues band Los Yanquis at the Ring O'Bells pub in Priston on the evening of Easter Sunday, March 31. Los Yanquis played at the 2012 Festival where audiences enjoyed their exciting mix of Americana, tex-mex, and country blues. There will be a collection and raffle in aid of Priston Festival funds. Doors open 7pm.
