Pregnant woman in labour rescued from North Somerset floods by fire crews
A mum-to-be in labour was rescued from her flood-hit home by firefighters in North Somerset this morning.
A fire crew from Chew Magna were called to an address at Stowey Bottom, Bishop Sutton, at around 10am.

Several people have been rescued from cars after trying to drive through floods this morning
Firefighters helped the woman to safely leave the building and she was transferred to an ambulance, which rushed her to Bath's Royal United Hospital to give birth.
At the same time, crews rescued a 45-year-old woman from a Skoda car which had become stranded in flood water at Backwell Common, Backwell.

Backwell, Claverham, Congresbury and in and around the Chew Magna area have been particularly badly hit by this morning's flooding.
Just before 8.30am, two people were rescued from a car in water in Crow Lane, Henbury.
A property in Dundry was also badly hit by flash flooding.
A crew from Brislington used a major pump to help try to clear some of the water, and to assist the elderly resident, who had mobility difficulties, to the top floor of the property.
At around 9.45am, swift water rescue technicians from Bedminster, assisted by a crew from Weston-super-Mare, helped rescue a man trapped in a BMW car in around four feet of flood water on the A368 at Bishop Sutton.
Meanwhile, Bedminster crews used a raft to search a vehicle submerged in water at Chapel Hill, Backwell.
Swift water rescue team members searched the vehicle but no people were found inside.
Elsewhere, an adult and four children were rescued from flood water at Winford Bridge, Chew Magna, and a man was rescued from a car in flood water at Pilgrims Way, Chew Stoke.
