Post office to open at Wanstrow village hall
WANSTROW residents will be celebrating something new next month with the official opening of a part-time post office in the village hall.
Local people have worked hard, in collaboration with the Post Office, to get this up and running.
This new service is part of the Post Office's commitment that no one should travel more than three miles to access postal services.
Until recently people in Wanstrow could drive to Nunney or Upton Noble to post their parcels, but when services at these villages closed residents had to travel to Frome or Bruton.
