PORTISHEAD United under-9s finished as runners-up in the Clevedon United six-a-side tournament.

They went through their group stage, beating Long Ashton A, Swiss Valley A and Nailsea United B to secure a place in the play-offs.

The team battled hard and their sheer determination and impeccable performances saw them go on to beat Churchill Club and draw with Nailsea United A and Ashton Boys A.

The Portishead team finished just one point away from Churchill to finish as runners-up.
