Police search for man who spat at bus driver
A BUS driver was spat at after refusing to allow someone a free journey in Weston-super-Mare.
The incident occurred at around 6.10pm on Sunday September 8, 2013.
The bus was in Regent Street when a man approached the bus driver telling her he wished to travel to the Bourneville Estate for free.
She told him would have to pay at which point he spat at her before getting off the bus.
As the doors closed the man again spat at the bus.
The incident was reported to police and since then we have been conducting enquiries into the incident.
The police have an image of someone who might have information about the incident but so far have not been able to identify him.
They are now appealing to the public for help and would ask this man, or anyone who knows him, to contact police on 101.
