“There are near misses here on a daily basis. I live locally and drive through the lights several times a day, someone nearly crashed into the side of me the other week after they went through a red light. The road side is littered with bumpers and headlight plastic following numerous minor collisions. Traffic regularly exceeds the 30 limit despite regular visits from the mobile speed camera. This latest accident is beyond sad for all those involved. So so tragic.”

“Agree that jumping lights is increasing and dangerous. Dont agree that speed cameras will solve anything, just a revenue source. Mobile phones/lack of attention are bigger issues.

Sadly no family wants accidents , thoughts and prayers to this family and friends.”

“I live in the village, most traffic speeds though, way over the speed limit, people are always jumping the lights, its sad this has happened, but it will again, it's soon going to be summer crash season, put a friggin speed camera, or traffic light camera in, they will cover the cost in fines in no time for the camera, it's not rocket science! No camera= more dead folk sadly!”
