Police probe discovery of woman's body in burning car
A major police investigation has been launched after the discovery of a woman's body in a burning car in Somerset.
Detectives confirmed this afternoon that they are treating the woman's death as suspicious.
Police were called to reports of a car on fire in a field off the A358 at Ashill, near Illminster, at 6.30 this morning.
Fire crews called to the scene found the body of a woman inside.

The woman has not been identified and no other details have been released.
But Avon and Somerset Police have appealed to anyone who was in the area at the time for help.
