Police looking for 'Smurf' star jump pest
Police in a rural beauty spot were yesterday hunting a man who has been pestering women while dressed as a Smurf.
The man has been spotted on a number of occasions performing bizarre acts in public while wearing a skin-tight blue 'morphsuit' and blue face paint.
He has been seen running up to women and performing star jumps in front of them in Longhope, Gloucestershire.
There are fears he may have targeted more women in the area who have yet to report the incident.

The man first struck on Sunday, May 20, and police received two reports about his behaviour on Saturday.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire Police said: "One witness told police the man was dressed in a blue skin-tight outfit, had blue paint on his face and looked 'like a smurf'.
"He has been seen waving at women and doing star jumps while running up to them."
Officers are urging the man or anyone with information about these incidents to call 101, quoting incident 192 of June 2.
