A suspected shoplifter who became so aggressive when challenged that staff feared for their safety is being sought in Frome.

The man was spotted in Halfords on the town's Marston industrial estate at around 2pm on Saturday.

He left the scene in a car described as an older model. Frome police are trying to identify him and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed a vehicle being driven erratically between 2pm and 2.30pm in the Halfords car park or the surrounding trading estate.
