Police block Yeovil street over 'false alarm'
A residential street in Yeovil was temporarily blocked to traffic earlier by police.
Motorists were unable to get down Westfield Road around 10am this morning after police received a call from someone concerned for residents on the street.

FALSE ALARM: Police blocked off a road in Yeovil this morning over 'concern for residents'.
Wayne Baker, of Avon and Somerset Constabulary, said: "We received a call at 9.30am about concern for occupants of a property on Westfield Road, Yeovil.
"We carried out checks and this proved to be a false alarm with good intentions."
