Police appeal after woman is assaulted in Bridgwater
Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted in Bridgwater.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, was walking in the Brewery Fields area of the town on Friday evening when a man approached her and assaulted her, officers said.

The incident took place between 5.45pm and 6.15pm.
Police said the woman was able to escape from the man near to the Bowerings Animal Feeds warehouse and run home.

Police want to hear from any witnesses, in particular a 17 to 19-year-old man who is believed to have passed by and spoke to the offender.
A 36-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident, and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
