Police appeal after stolen jewellery recovered from Christmas burglary
Police have recovered a gold wedding ring believed to be 90 years old which was stolen from a Yeovil home over the Christmas period.
Officers have released photographs of the recovered goods, which also includes a gold ladies watch strap and case, in the hope the owner of the jewellery will recognise them.
The wedding band is believed to have originated from the 1920s while the watch strap and case is in two sections, police said. It is not known when the watch was damaged.
The jewellery is believed to have been stolen fairly recently.
