Police appeal after handbag is snatched in Yeovil
A man who snatched a woman’s handbag as she sat on a bench in Yeovil, Somerset, is being sought by police.
The victim was sitting opposite Hendford Lodge in Hendford, close to the Tesco underground car park entrance, when her bag was stolen.

Two men, who were sitting near the victim, chased the thief who dropped the bag and ran into the High Street. Cash had been stolen from her purse.
The thief is described as 20-30 years old, of slight build and up to 5ft 8in tall. He was wearing a brown and cream hooded top.
