The Cobblers were forced into a reshuffle when Craig Mawford was the victim of a lunging tackle but Steve Murray continued to look a danger up front and was twice denied by Burgess.
Street deservedly led at the interval but Hallen looked a different side after the restart and levelled the scores when they were awarded a penalty after 55 minutes. Jack Malone hauled down Aysa Carrick in the box and Tom Collett scored from the spot.
Teenage goalkeeper Matt Haines then came into his own for the hosts, twice denying Collett before producing his best save from Ash Bennett's powerful header.
At the other end, Murray was thwarted by Burgess after picking up on a brilliant through ball from Mark Randall but Street did wrap up the win when Ormerod grabbed his second.
The Cobblers front man latched onto Tom Hurley's pass before sending a superb shot into the far corner of the net from outside the box.
