Rotary Club provides cash to buy lifesaver
THE First Responders of Gillingham Supporters group has received a funding boost thanks to the town's Rotary Club.
FROGS, which offers a rapid response service in emergency situations, was presented with a donation of £1,250 to help with its lifesaving efforts.
Accepting the donation on behalf of the group Roger Monksummers said: "FROGS exists to ensure that the local volunteer community first responders are fully equipped to maximise the medical impact they are able to have for our community.
"The most kind and generous donation from Gillingham Rotary will allow the purchase of another defibrillator.
"This will expand the level of service the first responders are able to give."
