Paulton Rovers hit back to win at Yate Town
FA Cup heroes Yate Town remain bottom of the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South & West after Paulton Rovers came from behind to win 3-2 at Winterfield Road.
Ben Lacey gave Rovers the lead, but a Tom Knighton brace, bisected by half-time, turned the game in the favour of the visitors.
However, Craig Loxton equalised on the hour before James Billing secured the points for the hosts with a winner 15 minutes from time.
Paulton opened the scoring midway through the first half when Loxton played Lacey in and he found the net with a drive from a narrow angle.

Yate levelled ten minutes later, though, as Knighton converted from the penalty spot after Loxton had fouled Mike Bryant in the box.
Two minutes after the interval, the home defence failed to clear a ball forward and Knighton pounced to score his second goal of the afternoon.
Rovers drew level when Billing advanced to the edge of the area before slipping in Loxton, who fired home with aplomb.
With quarter of an hour remaining, it was Billing himself who notched the Paulton winner, heading in at the far post from Lacey’s right-wing cross.
Paulton host Taunton in the league tomorrow (7.30pm), while Yate entertain Abingdon the same evening (7.45pm).
Elsewhere in Division One South & West, Mangotsfield United were beaten 3-0 at home by high-flying Poole.
Warren Byerley gave Poole a first-half lead before Steve Devlin netted two penalties after the break.
