Paul Huntington suspension to start at Sheffield Wednesday after Yeovil Town red card appeal is rejected
Yeovil Town skipper Paul Huntington will serve a three-game ban, starting with this Saturday's away trip to Sheffield Wednesday, after the club’s appeal against his red card against Preston North End was rejected.
The 24-year-old centre-half was dismissed by referee Oliver Langford on Saturday for what Yeovil officials felt was a firm, but fair, challenge on Preston striker Jamie Proctor late on in the Glovers’ 2-1 win.

Huntington will miss the next three matches against Sheffield Wednesday (away), Scunthorpe United (home) and Wycombe Wanderers (away).
Last night's 11pm January transfer window deadline passed without too much activity at Huish Park.
The Glovers received an approach from Blue Square Bet Premier side Lincoln City for attacking midfielder Billy Gibson, which was rejected.
The club were also looking to possibly bring in defensive cover for Huntington during his spell on the sidelines, but no announcements were made before 11pm.
