Parking fees and shop cafe are top priorities
Car parking fees and a new coffee shop proposed by Tesco are the top issues causing concern for Shepton Mallet residents, a new survey has revealed.
More than 700 residents' survey questionnaires were sent out asking for views on a wide range of issues from car parking to policing.
The survey was led by town and district councillor John Parham and published by the Wells Conservative Association.
Of the 100 questionnaires returned, 78 said filming of the BBC living history series in the town centre had a beneficial effect on its image.
