Having recently retired from full-time work, I now have spare time during which I visit Collett Park, in Shepton Mallet.

I have a go on the wonderful exercise equipment, then I walk round the park itself.

I want to congratulate the staff who keep this park looking a picture of beauty. I know one young man is called Daniel and he has worked there for 15 years. I don't know the names of others, but I think they all deserve a round of applause. Please, children, do not spoil it again.

And to anyone taking their dog into the park, from what I see while I am there, most people do the right thing and clean up after their pet, but there are some who I shall name and shame if they continue to be so selfish.. Not nice when children don't notice it on their shoes and walk it through the house.
