Paramedics help rescue crash driver
TWO fire engines from Chard were called to the scene of a crash on Snowdon Hill just after 9pm on Sunday.
A third fire service team from Taunton also attended the incident where crews helped paramedics and police to remove a man from the car involved.
He was later taken to hospital via ambulance.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "The driver of the green Vauxhall Astra, a man in his 20s, complained of chest and back pains.
"The vehicle was recovered at around 10.45pm."
