Two people who were arrested after an incident in the village of Witham Friary have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

A 53-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday, February 2, in connection with firearm offences and a woman was arrested later that day on suspicion of perverting the cause of justice.

The pair have been released and due to return to Yeovil Police Station on Monday, March 8.
