New year marks a new start for children's centre
A SPECIAL event is being held in Weston-super-Mare to celebrate Chinese New Year.
The Sunshine and Puddles event, organised by Weston Central Children's Centre, is being held at the Old Town Quarry on February 13 between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
Youngsters will be able to make their own lanterns and take part in a parade and there will be Chinese New Year themed activities.
The event will go ahead whatever the weather and it costs £1 per family. All families who have a child under the age of five are welcome.

This event will relaunch the children's centre weekly Sunshine and Puddles group which will start again on February 20 at the normal time of 1pm to 2.30pm at the Old Town Quarry, term time only.
