Classic car show draws crowds of people
HUNDREDS of people took to the streets of Drayton at the weekend to enjoy a classic car show and musical performances.
The Drayton Street Fair on Saturday saw locals enjoying music from the Kingsbury Band and with children enjoying a performance from Punch and Judy.
There was also a vintage car show and a "human fruit machine", where people sat in cardboard slots and held up different fruits.
Mike Kennett, chairman of the street fair committee, said: "The event went extremely well we have a very good turn out and the weather was superb.
"We thought the roadworks in Langport might put people off but it didn't seem to – everyone looked to be having a great time."
