New members invited to play at bowls club
A bowls club is looking to entice new members to take up the sport.
The Fun Indoor Bowls Club has been running for many years at Frome Leisure Centre and is held on a Thursday afternoon from 2.30pm for two hours.
The club's publicity officer, Graham Ewens, contacted the Somerset Standard and is keen to get more people playing.
He said: "Anyone can come along and have a go, there is no age limit and no experience is necessary.

"Our numbers have fallen in recent months and we are keen to encourage more people to come along and have a go.
"It is a fun bowls club and is for enjoyment only, it gives people a little exercise and there is no league involvement.
"It is also a great way to meet new people."
Participants are recommended to wear soft shoes, but no other specialist clothing is required and the bowls are provided.
Anyone wishing to take part should arrive at about 2.15pm in preparation for the session.
Each session costs £2.35 with a Mendip Leisure Card or £3.15 without.
