New Waitrose store in Wells on course for summer finish
The Waitrose store planned for Whiting Way in Wells is set to be completed in the summer.
A spokesman said: "We are on schedule and looking forward to welcoming our new customers in mid summer.

"The steel structure is currently being erected so residents will see the framework of the building coming together for the first time.
"The lower level of the new car park is open to the public and weather permitting we should be in a position soon to apply the finish to the upper floor in order to open all of it by Easter."

Although a firm date hasn't yet been given for the opening of the store, it is hoped that a date will soon be given for when recruitment is set to begin.
It is hoped that the new store will bring with it 120 new jobs and increased parking for the city centre.
