People with dementia have enjoyed a music therapy session at Frome Memory Cafe.

Music therapist Julie Britton led the session, which was held at Trinity Church hall last Thursday.

Miss Britton uses music to draw out people's potential and self-expression, with the sessions involving musical interaction, sharing and communication built around music improvisation.

She holds regular music therapy sessions for people who are isolated through memory loss and need support and an alternative way to communicate and express themselves.
