Shepton United Youth Football Club and Shepton Mallet Cricket Club are holding a fundraising "mouse race", on Friday, March 19 at Whitstone School.

Funds raised from the event will go towards the planned under-14s' tour to Barcelona, Spain, in October.

In addition to the mouse race, there will also be a special auction of signed football shirts including: multi signature Leeds United shirt (2), multi signature Charlton Athletic shirt (2), multi signature Middlesborough shirt (2), multi signature Preston Northend shirt (1), signed Bristol Rovers shirt, signed Arsenal shirt and a limited edition Bristol City shirt (League Championship play-off 2008) signed by Lee Johnson.

All are welcome on the night as all support of grassroots community youth football is welcome.
