Motorist rescued from car trapped in mud near Yeovil
Firefighters rescued a motorist from a road near Yeovil where a car was stuck in mud this morning.
Devon and Somerset Fire Service received a call to a person trapped inside a vehicle that was stuck in mud on Station Lane, between Montacute and Tintinhull, just before 11.50am.

Two appliances from Yeovil attended the scene where the car was in mud approximately one foot deep.
Crews used a tirfor winch to pull the vehicle out of the mud and onto the roadway.
